Totson Marketing — Edward & Landon

Your ads aren't broken.
Your math is.

With deep expertise in Meta advertising, we take clothing and skincare brands from small upcoming labels to larger profitable brands on Instagram and Facebook — through data-driven ad campaigns built to convert. Ready to scale? Let's talk.

Our approach

We treat every dollar of ad spend like it's our own.

Transparent reporting, weekly check-ins, and campaigns optimized in real time — not set-and-forget. We don't believe in vague promises, so you will always know exactly what your ad spend is doing and exactly what it brought back.

Transparent reporting

One dashboard, shared with you from day one. Spend, revenue and contribution margin, updated daily. Nothing waits for a monthly PDF and nothing is rounded in our favor.

Weekly check-ins

A standing call every week. What we tested, what won, what we are killing, and where next week's budget is going. You are never guessing what we did with your money.

Optimized in real time

Budgets, audiences and creative move when the data moves — not on a monthly review cycle. A losing ad does not get to spend for three more weeks because nobody checked.

The work

Three kinds of account we take over.

These are the categories we know best and the state we usually find them in. No numbers here — when we have client results we are allowed to publish, they will appear with a name attached and not before.

Cold-process skincare

Few SKUs · founder-led · sold direct

Skincare lives or dies on repeat purchase, so the account has to be built for the second bottle rather than the first. Most of the ones we open have been optimised for the first sale and nothing else.

What we usually inherit

    What we change first

Why revenue alone is a vanity metric

Where a single order actually goes.

Four things come out of every order you take. Three of them belong to somebody else. The fourth is the only one that pays you, and it is the one most brands never put a number against.

ONE ORDER Cost of goods Shipping Ad cost What you keep Contribution margin The only part of the order that is actually yours. Schematic, not a measurement — every brand splits differently. Finding your split is what the audit is for.
      • Cost of goods — what the product cost to make and put in a box.
      • Shipping — what it cost to get there, less whatever the customer covered.
      • Ad cost per order — what you paid to find that customer. The one you can move.
      • What you keep — contribution margin. The only number that pays you.

      The method

      The Compounding Loop.

Four stages that feed each other. Most brands run one of them well and wonder why growth stalls at the same ceiling every quarter. The loop only pays when it closes — every stage hands the next one something it could not have produced alone.

EVERY 14 DAYS THE LOOP RUNS AGAIN CONTRIBUTION MARGIN the only scoreboard 01   AUDIT Pixel, attribution, margin Week 1 — nothing is spent 02   CREATIVE 12–20 concepts a month Hooks tested before spend 03   MEDIA Structure, budget, bidding Scale only what earns it 04   RETENTION Email, SMS, second order Raises what you can bid findings become creative briefs winners get budget, losers die buyers become repeat buyers retention data resets the audit Higher retention lets you pay more per customer than your competitor can. That is the whole game.

      What we actually do

      Three ways in.

      01

      The Audit

We get read-only access to your Meta account, your store and your email platform, and we spend a week inside them. You get back a written teardown: what your true cost per customer is once returns are counted, which campaigns are cannibalizing each other, where the pixel is lying to you, and the three changes that move the most money the fastest.

You keep the document whether or not you ever hire us.

      02

      Ad Management

Month-to-month operation of Instagram and Facebook. We write, direct and edit the creative, run the testing schedule, hold the account structure, and report on contribution margin rather than on impressions. You approve concepts. We handle everything after that.

Two brands per person at a time. That ceiling is the point.

      03

      Campaigns

A launch, a drop, a seasonal push, a sale that has to land. Fixed scope, fixed window. We build the offer, the creative slate, the landing page argument and the email sequence around a single date, then run it hard and hand you the post-mortem.

Best used when you already have an audience and something worth saying to it.

      Who you'd be working with

      Edward and Landon.
      That's the whole company.

There is no account manager here. There is no junior buyer learning on your budget. When you hire us you get the two people whose names are on the door, in your ad account, every week.

We have spent years inside the accounts of clothing labels, streetwear brands and skincare lines — mostly founders doing their own fulfillment, mostly people who had been burned once already by an agency that sent a dashboard instead of a result. We have made those brands money. Not impressions, not saves, not a nicer-looking feed. Money that cleared, that they could see in their own bank account at the end of the month, and that kept coming after we left.

The reason we work is not a secret tactic. It is that we refuse to take on more brands than we can personally run, and we refuse to report on numbers that cannot be spent. Most agencies grow by adding clients. We grow by making a small number of them significantly richer and letting them talk.

We will also tell you when the answer is no. If your margins cannot survive paid acquisition, or your product is not ready, or your website loses the sale before the ad has finished paying for itself, we will say that on the first call and not take your money. That conversation costs you nothing and has saved several founders a very expensive quarter.

      — Edward & Landon Book the call

      Before you book

      The questions people actually ask.

      What does it cost?

We quote on the first call, once we have seen what we would be walking into. There is no price list here because the work is not the same job from one brand to the next, and a number published without knowing your account would be a number we had to walk back. Ask us on the call and you will get a straight answer before you hang up.

Am I locked into a contract?

Thirty days' notice, either direction, after the first ninety. We ask for ninety because the loop needs three full cycles before the compounding shows up in the numbers, and anyone promising you a transformation inside a month is selling you a spike you will pay for later.

Why two freelancers instead of a real agency?

Because at your stage the agency would put you with whoever they hired most recently. The senior person you met in the pitch is not the person who opens your account on Tuesday. With us there is nobody else to hand you to.

      Do you guarantee results?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls what your customers do, and a guaranteed return on paid social is either padded into the price or quietly defined so it cannot be missed. What we will commit to is the work: the testing volume, the reporting, and telling you early and plainly if the channel is not paying you back.

Who owns the ad account and the creative?

You do, always. We work inside your Business Manager under your assets, never ours. Every asset we produce is yours to keep and reuse after we stop working together, with no licence and no clawback.

Do I need to be on TikTok too?

Probably eventually, not necessarily now. We deliberately concentrate on Instagram and Facebook because that is where we are genuinely excellent, and a brand at your stage is usually better served by one channel run properly than three run adequately.

What do you need from me?

Access, product to shoot, and roughly an hour a week. The single biggest predictor of whether this works is how quickly you turn around creative approvals — the brands that grow fastest are the ones that reply the same day.

      What if it doesn't work?

Then we tell you before you notice, we tell you why, and you leave on thirty days. We would rather lose the work than keep billing a founder for a channel that is not paying them back — the referral is worth more to us than the invoice.

      Next step

Thirty minutes, your account on screen.

We open your ad account live on the call and walk through what we would change first. You will leave with something usable whether or not you hire us. If we are not the right fit we will say so before the half hour is up.
